Speacial Victims Unit
In the criminal justice system, sexually based offenses are considered especially hanus. In New York City, the dedicated detectives that investigate these vicous felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories.
My favorite TV show is Law And Order: SVU. I'm definitely the biggest Mariska Hargitay fan. I can't decide whether to be like Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) or ADA Alex Cabot (Stephanie March) Being a detective would be amazing but I'm not sure I want to be a cop first, which is a problem. Being an ADA for the Special Victims Unit would be the next best thing. I plan on moving to New York after college and most likely working in Queens, where a SVU team is located. If it was for sure that I'd become a Detective, then I'd be a cop first but there's not gurantee for that and I would still be locking up people that commit the crimes. Hmmm... decions to make. Luckily I'm only 12.
